After all, in many professions an individual is held accountable for their skills, initiative, and effectiveness, it doesn’t matter how long to remain employed. New plus more experienced employees alike are anticipated to call home up to the expectations with their job every single day, without there like a certainty of continued employment. However, in public school systems and colleges, it’s merely the new teachers who appear to be held accountable. After a teacher or professor becomes “tenured,” their job is pretty much guaranteed.

As a future physical educator, I’ve learned the very importance of physical education while studying for my degree, but even more so with the involvement with my students. The truth of the matter is physical education class is vital to any student’s success in the future. In the early grades, we go over key motor skill and development tasks. As we progress through the grades, we target other more in-depth skills, such as strategy and cooperative games, that incorporate these fundamental motor skills.

This direction can be associated with our National Association of Sport and Physical Education standards, but more importantly, teach students how to participate in a variety of skills. ADHD is described as a behavioral disorder seen as a chronic and developmentally inappropriate example of inattention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity. Students with ADHD could have the next symptoms: being distracted quickly, miss details, forget things, have trouble focusing on just one task and grow bored very easily unless doing something enjoyable. Looking at these symptoms, you might think that many of them are normal in most people. Did anyone ever stop and feel that maybe these students are only bored? Or perhaps these students usually are not obsessed with whatever they are learning? Teachers coping with students with ADHD have to get solutions to allow most of these students’ room for creativity to locate their passion.

Recently I have been doing my Field Experience in Health and Physical Education with a local middle school. I teach 2 Health and 2 PE lessons each Monday and I observe another PE class. The Phys. ed. class I have been observing is a class that features special needs students. After my second observation, I had to inquire about my cooperating teacher if your students in this class were selected as “peer leaders” or in the event, the students had shown interest in maintaining the category while using special needs students. I was shocked to find out that the scholars were just selected randomly plus it simply so happened this group was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the requirements of their classmates.
